Front End Developer - Remote Role
Phreesia is seeking a smart, energetic and highly motivated Front End Developer to join our team. The Front End Developer will be building next generation health applications used by millions of patients; responsible for translating innovative designs into compelling, interactive solutions; solving complex front-end challenges; and working closely with development to implement your code on cutting-edge technology.
As the Front End Developer, you will work closely with product management and UX design team to create the user interfaces for new and existing interfaces, including Phreesia’s tablet check-in solution, the mobile applications and the core patient workflow management portal. You will also be integrated into the development team to design and build cutting-edge products, explore new technologies and drive Phreesia’s front end application.
Design and implement new user-facing features for web, mobile and tablet product lines.
Translate design concepts into interactive, production-ready solutions.
Build the libraries and frameworks that support large, complex web applications.
Optimize web applications to improve usability and maximize speed and scale. Support diverse clients from high-powered desktop computers to small-footprint mobile devices.
Write client-side code for web-based applications, create fast, easy-to-use, high-volume production applications, and develop prototypes quickly.
Collaborate closely with product management, UI designers and engineering to realize vision.
Skills and Experience:
3-5 years of previous experience with front end development on a B2B or B2C SaaS platform, including both web and mobile products.
Knowledge of web libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS, Less, jQuery, and Karma.
Experience with hybrid mobile applications and Cordova is a plus.
Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and web server optimization techniques.
A strong acumen for user experience and usability and the intellectual curiosity to solve user action challenges.
BS degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment.
Excellent communication skills.
