Job Description:
Position Summary:
An Application Developer develops interactive desktop and mobile applications. The Application Developer is responsible for programming, debugging, and testing the work they create. They will work closely with a team of creative and strategy professionals in a highly collaborative environment.
General and Daily Responsibilities:
• Reading technical specifications as required achieving the objectives of functional specifications.
• Coding interactive applications for desktop and mobile devices.
• Tracking and reporting on all personal tasks and time.
• Performing unit testing of all modules.
• Collaborating closely with a creative driven team.
• Completing all tasks on time.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills Required:
• At least 2 years of agency (or in-house agency) mobile/desktop application development experience
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following: Objective-C/iOS, Java/Android, ActionScript 3/Adobe Air development
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON
• Understanding of ORM and SQL database concepts
• Experience with Subversion and Git version control systems
• Familiarity with industry-standard graphics tools such as Photoshop/Illustrator
• Understanding of functional and technical specifications.
• Desire to thrive in a high-pressure, timeline-driven, client-services environment.
• Desire to follow through with multiple tasks on concurrent multiple projects.
• Ability to work individually or as part of a collaborative team.
• Completing all tasks on time.
