Specialist Deskside Customer Engineer Job in Bellevue, WA

Job Description:
The candidate will be responsible for monitoring performance and ensuring that all users have continuous access to the different systems. He/she will be responsible for planning and overseeing infrastructure projects that improve diverse business roles. Additional responsibilities include the installation of hardware and conduct hardware refreshed, oversee break/fix of hardware, and conduct basic system administration.

Technical Delivery:
Main responsibilities for this role (but not limited to):

Oversee the administration and maintenance of the systems infrastructure.
Cooperate with other teams like Servers, Storage, Network, Security, Applications, and Database to resolve pertinent issues.
Prioritize all tickets assigned to the deskside support group and solve problems quickly and effectively.
Become the main point of contact for both internal and external customers.
Document all calls and ensure a quick response and resolution of all calls as per SLA.
Research and apply all required resources to troubleshoot new and difficult issues.
Motivate and lead team members. Create goals and develop a growth path for them.
Create knowledge base articles as repetitive issues arise.
Provide regular online monitoring of all open service requests, as well as monitoring allocation of all calls.
Provide new user setup on the Active Directory network.
Meet on a regular basis with vendors and review their SLAs.
Communicate with software and hardware vendors to request services regarding defective products.

Knowledge and skills required:

Excellent logical and problem solving-skills.
Have excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
Be detail oriented and organized.
Knowledgeable of Windows server and PowerShell and Active Directory administration.
Familiar of TCP/IP and other networking terminology.
Experienced with User Workstation administration, configuration, and installation.
Proven leadership skills.
Knowledgeable of LAN/WAN, Server, Desktop, and Security administration.
Customer service and delivery experience is desirable.

Qualifications:

A+ Certification is required.
Have one or more of the following Certifications: MCSA, MCSE, MCTS:SCCM.
PMP/ITIL certification preferred.
7-10 years of experience.
Minimum education: HS Diploma in addition to having completed a technical training program in PC repair.
