Job Description
This position is responsible for providing Information Technology and Systems support to a dynamic office and warehouse environment. Daily responsibilities will vary and will cover all aspects of IT infrastructure, software, helpdesk and development. This is a Microsoft centric environment running a Windows domain, SQL Server, Exchange & Dynamics along with varied line of business applications. This position will also need to assist with data driven requests in SQL server and should be able to provide solutions in Visual Studio, Access and t-SQL. As a customer facing support position the ideal candidate will have excellent customer skills and the ability to work with varied personalities and in a team environment.
Required Skills
Information Systems Support
Develop new utilities (labeling, data transformation, file conversion, etc.) using Visual Studio.
Provide Ad-Hoc support for data driven requests including data uploads, SQL queries, creation of access databases and other requests
Assist end users with data issues within Line of Business systems (NAV, Solochain, etc.)
Partner with software vendor on bugs, projects & other problems
Provide Support to End Users for Corporate Software
Microsoft Office, Access, Project & Visio
Trend Micro Anti-Virus
Internet Explorer, Google Chrome & Firefox Web Browsers
Microsoft Dynamics NAV Client
Adobe Reader
Pivotier
Jet Enterprises
FedEx Software
UPS Software
PC & User Support
Provide support to end user PC’s including software, connectivity & general assistance
Install, troubleshoot, upgrade and repair PC’s, printers, network equipment and infrastructure.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform necessary tasks
Ability to work occasional nights and weekends
Additional Desired Skills (Not Required)
Experience with Network Infrastructure Support including Routers, Switches and Cat-5 cabling
Server administration experience with
Windows servers & Domains
Microsoft SQL Server
Microsoft Exchange Server
Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Solochain WMS
Experience supporting handheld scanner (Motorola & Intermec)
Experience with Virtualization in a Hyper-V environment
Knowledge of Altigen Telephone system, Server & Phones both VOIP & Analog
