Where is the work to be performed? Basking Ridge, NJ and customer sites across states
What are the work hours? 9- 5 with extended hours required depending on client/customer need for strategy, planning & execution of SIT and/or UAT testing of critical releases.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for the ownership, strategy and direction of the Quality Assurance function of state projects for Optum Technology
Sets team direction, resolves problems and provides guidance to team members
Adapts project plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges to meet State Exchange needs
Responsible for resource & task planning for onsite/offsite/offshore QA staff
Ensures staff delivers to established standards
Creates estimates for the team and manages project budgets
Maintains an understanding of QA testing methodologies processes and associated test management/automation tools
Works with project and resource managers to assign resource, set dates and set expectations for projects and QA deliverables
Provides accurate & timely reports to stake holders
Analyzes and profiles data to meet project needs
Coordination with development, business and infrastructure teams for day to day project activities
Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree
Overall experience of 10+ years in IT experience
Minimum of 7 years of quality assurance experience
Experience in IEEE and audit processes
Leading change initiatives and client facing engagement
Experience in leading SIT, UAT, Regression testing activities for complex projects
Hands-on experience in preparing Test Strategy, Test Plan
Experience in Requirement Analysis, Traceability, impact analysis and reporting
Experience in Defect Management - reporting, triage, RCA activities
Hands-on experience in planning, developing, executing and validating QA efforts for complex projects
Strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills demonstrated through successfully leading change initiatives
