Job Description:

Position Summary:
We are seeking a IT System Analyst Consultant for our Richardson, TX location to analyze user requirements. Produce high-level ETL/BI design specifications that meet business requirements within the scope of the pre-established architecture. Participate in business sign off meetings to confirm the pre-User Acceptance Testing. Resolve issues by backtracking and suggest best solution to solve them. Identify, test, and resolve performance issues of poorly running queries and performance of database. Utilize experience in using the HP Quality Center tool to track the new requirements. Conduct research studies that may include collecting, analyzing, trending and presenting data and recommendations to management. Collaborate with business and technology departments to define deliverables. Maintain jobs in Tivoli, and/or SQL scheduler, run TWS jobs on demand and improving workflow. Participate in quality assurance and user acceptance testing. Document the database environments. Maintain Stored Procedures for the SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL process. Transfer files between servers using SCP, SFTP, rsync scripts. Coordination the installation of computer programs and database change scripts provided by developer. Backup and restore database in SQL Server. Develop financial models and tools, including cost-benefit analysis, resource utilization models and performance reports. Perform project management duties including the creation of status reports, work plans, and presentations to client leadership. Provide functional direction and technical expertise to other IT Systems Analysts.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience. Alternatively, this position requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus 3 years of experience.
Will accept experience gained concurrently.
Must have demonstrated experience with each of the following: (1) transfer files between servers using SCP, SFTP, rsync scripts; (2) produce high-level ETL/BI design specifications that meet business requirements within the scope of the pre-established architecture; (3) maintain jobs in Tivoli, and/or SQL scheduler, run TWS jobs on demand and improving workflow; and (4) maintain Stored Procedures for the SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for ETL process.
