Our client is looking for a Embeded Test Engineer. JOB ID Functional Test Engineer (Mid-Level) (4477076)
Technical requirements for the position.
- 3+ years of software industry exp. (test, development, software)
- Must have Unix/Linux experience
- Must have Python scripting experience
- Java, Perl, C/C++ and Bash desired
- Must be familiar with HTML and XML
- Must be familiar with the bug/defect tracking process
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience developing & testing complex embedded applications.,Solid knowledge of UNIX and Linux.
Experience in device drivers and open source libraries,
Hands on experience of Bash and Python scripting, Perl is a plus.,
Knowledge of HTML and XML, and processing these standards in Python or other languages.,
Familiar with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit.
Working knowledge of programming languages such as C/C++, and experience with cross compilation.,
Proven track record delivering quality software in a fast paced, dynamic environment consisting of a culturally diverse set of people.,
Hands on experience with the use of various defect tracking systems (i.e. JIRA, Bugzilla, TeamTrack, Test Track, Remedy) and source code management systems (especially
Subversion). Able to easily achieve mastery of new tools, languages and operating systems.
Additional Job Details:
Member of test team responsible for ensuring quality and reliability of enterprise server products.
Actively participate in the development and test of an embedded software system.
Develop detailed test plans and automation to ensure the system conforms to the stated requirements.,
Understanding of software development life cycle.
Work directly with multiple developer teams to implement or import tests into the automated test environment.
Actively contribute towards the refinement of the Automated Test infrastructure. Actively contribute to the existing automated test suite.
Develop tools and automation for development team. Focus on performance and reliability of the product keeping customers in mind.
