Experienced IT Manager is now required! Working for an internationally expanding, industry leading, commercial business. Due to their continued growth and success our client is looking for an experienced and commercially savvy IT Manager.

Reporting to the Head of IT and acting as a key member of the IT Leadership Team, the IT Manager is accountable and responsible for the effective and efficient delivery of all IT services, 24x7 across the business.
Main Duties:
Responsible and accountable for delivering reliable IT services to the business with a focus on continual improvement
Responsible for leading, organising and managing a team of IT staff, including hiring, training, evaluation, guidance, discipline and discharge
As a member of the key management team, make a constructive and effective contribution to the formulation of the company’s key business and service objectives, the company’s IT strategy, and ensure that IT plans best compliment the business goals and priorities
Desired Skills and Experience:
Skilled in adoption and implementation of ITIL best practices to improve the performance of an IT function and demonstrate improve business results, and certified in ITIL, COBIT or similar
Demonstrable ability to lead and organise a team of technical staff to ensure IT service objectives are met
Ability to communicate and engage with stakeholders at all levels – from Director level to Contact Centre operative
Track record of delivery of technology change initiatives related to evolving an IT function closer to a best practice
