The developer's work involves developing and refining sophisticated computer systems designed to link information from various data sources relating to financial crime investigations. In this position, you will determine how to use sophisticated Java technology to design, develop, and configure computers that improve the quality of information available to law enforcement.

Roles and Responsibilities:

* Participate in the elicitation and specification of requirements

* Researches, designs, develops, and/or modify Java/J2EE application using technologies such as JSP, SQL, and XML

* Involved in planning of system and development deployment as well as responsible for meeting software compliance standards

* Development and execution of unit tests

* Solve complex technical issues under general supervision

* Bachelors Degree in Technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or Information Systems from an accredited university or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree

* A minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience with Java/J2EE application development

* Demonstrated understanding of software design patterns

* Solid analytical/interpersonal/communication skills

* Direct, hands-on experience developing, configuring, re-engineering, testing, and debugging Java application code.

* US Citizenship and an active Secret Security Clearance required Basic Qualifications for a Software Development Analyst 3 are... To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
