Job Description:
We are seeking candidates with a background in designing and developing solutions on Salesforce.com/Force.com platform to work with our direct client in North Chicago, IL.

RESPONSIBILITES
Responsible for all phases of the development lifecycle in response to business needs – from initial technical design through production deployment and L3 production support. Ownership of all technical aspects of Salesforce.com including data migrations, configuration, systems integrations, third party applications, AppExchange products, custom code and data quality. Help develop and drive best practices around Salesforce.com application development, governance, change (release) management and end user adoption. Champion SFA tools within the technology systems group – educating and mentoring other team members on the capabilities and potential applications. Collaborate with field sales and sales management teams, customer service teams, IT systems leadership and other stakeholders to ensure functionality meets the needs of the internal and external customers. Provide subject matter expertise in the planning process. Participate in and influences decisions that affect the functionality of delivered products.
QUALIFICATIONS
6+ years of total IT experience
Minimum of 3 years of Salesforce.com application development experience in a multi-tiered environment including configuration as well as custom development with an emphasis on Sales and Service Cloud
Prior Service Cloud implementation experience including Case Management, Lead Management, Knowledge, and CTI integration preferred
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Force.com development including creating Custom Objects, Custom Tabs, Visual Force Pages, Apex Triggers, Apex Classes, Standard Controllers, Custom Controllers and Controller Extensions
Experience in developing screens, adding fields in SF
Solid experience in at least 2 SF implementation projects
Experience interfacing with salesforce adapter
Experience in interfacing with other legacy applications through middleware
Hands-on experience in administrative tasks including creating Profiles, Roles, Users, Sharing Rules, Email Services, Page Layouts, Workflow, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, Reports, and Dashboards.
Hands-on practical experience with Salesforce.com common tools - Data Loader, Eclipse, Force.com IDE, Version Control, Workbench, Demand Tools, etc
In depth knowledge of the Salesforce API’s and building integrations with the Salesforce platform
Good working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, SOQL and SOSL
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
Self-sufficient customer facing skills that foster a ‘trusted advisor’ relationship with business is a must
Good planning, organization, and work management skills. Self-starter, who takes ownership, meets commitments and multi-tasks effectively in a fast moving environment
Experience working on Agile and Scrum projects desired
Experience with mobile app development would be a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field desired Force.com Developer and Advanced Developer certifications desired
