RESPONSIBILITIES:
One of Kforce insurance clients in the Stamford, Connecticut (CT) area is looking for a SAP Java Lead. The SAP Java Lead is a member of the Global SAP Services team and is responsible for overseeing the implementation of all SAP Java development. The person is also responsible for the implementation of integration points with other SAP and non-SAP systems.
Position Responsibilities:
* Oversee all Java development being implemented by various vendors, working closely with the project managers
* Come up with development and coding standards
* Develop prototypes to test solutions
* Work closely with architects to understand and aid design of java development
* Perform quality checks, such as code reviews
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
* 5+ years experience with NetWeaver CE and/or Process Orchestration (PO), including process integration and business process management tools
* Solid work experience with SAP Java Release and Build components, such as NetWeaver Developer Studios (NWDS), Enterprise Service Repository (ESR) and Design Time Repository (DTR)
* Excellent understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles
* Experience working with SAP Java development such as Web Dynpro Java, Java Web Services, Enterprise JavaBeans
* Experience working with SAP Java Web Service Proxy development
* Development experience with ABAP and/or configuration experience in NetWeaver Portal is a plus
* Must have lead experience
