SQA Raid / Storage Job

SQA- Server Storage needed for a Contract job opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Jose, CA .

Top Skills You Should Possess:

- SQA Black Box Testing
- RAID storage
- Intel/AMD x86 systems

What You'll Be Doing:

- Black box testing of RAID/storage
- Configure RAID 0/1/5/6 including functional, regression, stress and performance testing.

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Must have experience with configuring and testing RAID 0/1/5/6, including functional, regression, stress, and performance testing.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in SQA of Intel/AMD x86 systems.
- At least 5 years of experience in the Server/Computer industry.
- Specific areas of SQA expertise required: storage HDD/SSD testing using SAS, Fibre Channel, or iSCSI.
- Must have good communication skills, good attitude, and be a quick learner.
- BSEE/CE/CS/ME, or equivalent work experience. An MSEE/CE/CS/ME preferred with 3-5 years experience is desired
- Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder

Bonus Points!

- Knowledge of x86 technology. The candidate must be well-versed in x86 terminology and have a good understanding of BIOS, BMC, server architecture, server management, etc.
- At least 1-2 years of recent programming/scripting experience.
