Job Description:

A client of ours is looking for a Systems Administrator for a permanent opportunity in San Antonio, TX.

Qualified candidates will have the following qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Computer Systems, Management Information Systems or related field from an credited university OR 1 years of System Managemnt experience
Minimum 1 years’ experience with Windows Active Directory Administration and/or Microsoft
Exchange Server Administration, VMWare Vsphere, VMView, Citrix XenApp &Xen Desktop
The ability perform complex troubleshooting, root?cause analysis, solution development and implementation
Solid understanding of automating system administration task and scripting languages
Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking
Solid understanding of network infrastructure components and applications
Solid understanding of host security (passwords, file permissions, file system integrity, security packages) and network security concepts
Strong knowledge of backup and recovery procedures, and disaster recovery procedures
The ability to train co?workers on complex topics and interact positively with co?workers and supervision
Must have the ability to work with people from various disciplines with varying degrees of technical skills in a professional manner

Nice to Have:

Experince in adminstering Symantec Enterprise Netbackup, HPData Protector, CommVault, Avamar Configuration and Management
Experience in administering Data Domain Configuration and Management
Experience in administering Cisco Network Infrastructure Configuration and Management
Experince inadminstering SAN (Storage Area Network) and NAS (Network Attached Storage)
Configuration and Management (EMC, IBM, HP, Hitachi)
Experience in administering converged infrastructure platforms. (EMC Vblock, Cisco FLexpod, IBM
Pureflx, HPShark, Oracle Engineerd Systems, Nutanix)
Microsoft Certifications to include: MCSE (Server Infrastructure, Messaging, and/or desktop infrastructure)
Citrix Certifications to include: CCE-V, CCP-V, CCA-N, CCP-M
VMWare Certified Advanced Professional 5 to include (VCAP5-DCA and/or VCAP5-DCD)
VMware Certified Design Expert 5- Data Center Virtualization (VCDX5-DCV)
VMware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP-DTA and/or VCAP-DTD)
VMware Certified Design Expert- Desktop (VCDX-DT)
