RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Lead Core Java / J2EE Developer in Parsippany, New Jersey (NJ). This is a great opportunity for a full time position with this company.

Requirements and Responsibilities:
* Deliver tactical and strategic improvements to large scale business banking applications
* Analyze requirements and produce detailed designs and specify solutions
* Breakdown work and leverage a small team of developers to deliver UI, service layer, database changes, and automated unit-tests
* Monitor the team's deliverables for quality, consistency, and scheduling
* Leverage technical skills to deliver UI, service layer, database changes and automated unit-tests
* Collaborate with peers to develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications
* Work with client-facing Project Managers and Business Analysts to negotiate schedule and design decisions

REQUIREMENTS:
* A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent with programming experience
* Demonstrated experience in leading a software development team in a financial services domain
* A love for developing software and solving difficult problems with simple solutions
* Deep expertise with core Java, OOAD, HTML, CSS and JEE technologies including JSP, Servlets, and EJB
* Experience developing domain-specific data models
* Ability to identify and prevent logical and performance issues before they materialize in test or production
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* A desire to help stakeholders define and document requirements
* Recent experience developing AJAX applications using jQuery or other similar libraries
* The most qualified candidates also have Industry knowledge of Business Banking and/or Commercial
