The position will be on-site at Customer's Cincinnati, Ohio location.

Role Overview

The Senior Security Consultant will help lead the establishment of policy, assist with the hands on implementation across a diverse set of enterprise level technologies and work to implement improvements to enhance maturity of existing security services. A primary focus will be the development of future strategy to address future security and business needs and establish action plan for the verification and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Role Responsibilities

-Identify, design and implement new Information Security Policies

-Works closely with 3rd party service providers to ensure adherence to established security policies and act as escalation point, where applicable

-Provides information to leadership regarding the negative impact on the business

-Responsible for understanding Client's culture, security strategies, security goals, security objectives security capabilities, and security budget; Documentation of existing Client security policies and procedures

-Resident is also responsible for integrating that understanding with such work as the Resident performs

-Performs analysis of security events from multiple sources including but not limited to events from

Security Information & Event Monitoring tools, network and host based intrusion detection systems, firewall logs, system logs (Unix & Windows), midrange, applications and databases

-Provide over site for Antivirus & Malware protection

-Develop and present operational security metrics

-Maintain knowledge of current security trends and be able to clearly communicate them to Client; Maintain knowledge and attend briefings from the SecureWorks CTU

-Ensure that firewall devices are maintained and configured according to manufacturer's specifications

-Support internal and external production infrastructure and processes

-Install and maintain internal company data center hardware

-Implement changes to firewalls and WSA as requested

-Assist in preparing and updating documentation, including installation guides, user guides, DR plans,

Visio maps, configure backups, etc.

As a managed security provider, Dell SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned.

Requirements

-Minimum 2 years' experience in a one of the managed security services functions

-5 years' experience with incident and vulnerability management

-Experience with Security Architecture and Design

-Strong experience with enterprise level security products

-Experience with top tier SIEM product (ArcSight experience preferred); Network Security (Firewall, IPS, etc.); vulnerability scanners and common user access control products including Microsoft AD; and experience with Endpoint protection

-2 to 3 years' experience in supporting compliance audits

-Possess the following technology skills:

-ISO, PCI or NIST Audit Processes

-Privileged Access Management, Dell One experience a plus

-Cisco security products

-Firewall administration

-VPN administration

-Windows Active Directory

-Qualys or Trustwave PCI

-Encryption/PKI

-Wireless networking

-Symantec End point protection software

Education and Certification Requirements

-4 year degree or equivalent experience

-CISSP certification or equivalent is required

Preferences

-Scripting language skills, preferably Python

-Project management experience preferred

-SIEM, ArcSight a plus

-Secure application development and mobility solutions experience preferred
