Title: Senior Software Engineer
Description:
As Senior Software Engineer, you will join our interdisciplinary team to conceptualize and author the technologies that power our trading activities in financial markets. As an integral member of an aggressive and nimble corporation, you will have the opportunity to tackle challenging problems in programming, networking, technology, mathematics and finance. Your initial responsibilities will include the development and improvement of our growing queue of critical trading applications that add significant value to company’s bottom line.
Duties:
- Design extensible trading applications
- Implement quantitative, algorithmic trade logic
- Research new technologies that show promise in improving core trading systems
Requirements:
- Exceptional ability to produce clean, efficient code in C++ and C#
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience at 2 trading firms
- Experience in building a complete, multi-threaded trading system
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Ability to quickly deploy and consistently iterate on projects
- Excellent research, problem solving and quantitative skills
- Entrepreneurial attitude with a keen attention to both structure and detail
- Comfort with both Windows and Linux environments
