RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Business Analyst III, Finance in Doral, FL.

Overview:
The client is looking for a high energy business analyst to support the Supply and Trading group. This position will gather and evaluate business requirements and translate them into functional solutions within the set of solutions and Trading Platform. The candidate needs to be analytical and have knowledge of commodities trading and capital markets and be comfortable in performing financial analysis and reviewing risk reports. The candidate is expected to learn all aspects of the company supply and trading and become the IT SME of that segment. The position requires strong business acumen and excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is an individual contributor position. The position defines and delivers complex IT work products at agreed deadlines. The position requires limited supervision and works mostly independently.

Responsibilities:
*Review, analyze and evaluate business systems, processes, and company needs
*Gather business needs
*Analyze portfolio PNL and risk issues reported by the business and perform financial analysis to understand if the issue is caused by system/non system issue
*Analyze Risk metrics for portfolios and provide guidance to the business on any issues with the Risk reporting caused by system/non system issues
*Become proficient in all the aspects of the commodities trading platform and support the supply and trading group with the day to day inquiries on the trading functionalities
*Lead system enhancements initiatives by designing and formulating solutions
*Act as the liaison between the business and the technical team members through the solution delivery process
*Assist project leaders by scoping the proposed solution leading to accurate cost and time estimates
*Determine how changing business needs will affect current systems and processes

REQUIREMENTS:
*Bachelor's degree in Finance and/or technical discipline required
*Master's degree, Masters in Finance or MBA is preferable
*At least 3 - 5 years working as a Business Analyst/Financial Analyst and interested in leveraging financial skills with technology aspects
*Analytical and have knowledge of commodities trading and capital markets and be comfortable in performing financial analysis and reviewing risk reports
*Proficient in Excel and performed financial analysis

Other knowledge or expertise required:
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Must be comfortable working closely with technical and business audiences
*Must have strong business acumen
*Must be eager to learn the details of the Aviation business and become a true SME
