Job Description:

Position: Applications Developer (SAP HANA Data Modeler)

Location: Eden Prairie

Job Type: Full Time

As an Applications Developer (SAP HANA Data Modeler), you will architect and design global warehouse solution in SAP Enterprise HANA environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop Reporting Data Sources in a HANA

Utilize HANA Design tools
Sources include BPC on HANA and Suite on HANA
Primarily for consumption by SAP Business Objects applications
Design HANA attributes views, analytic views, and calculation views

Provide HANA Reporting Application Support

Trouble shooting and repair recommendation and execution

Engage the business in conjunction with IT Business Analysts to:

Understand Business Process Flows
Define Requirements in conjunction with IT BA and SME's
Propose working data mart design solutions
Design, Prototype and Build

Maintain current working knowledge of tool set and ongoing enhancement:

Attend workshops and training courses as necessary
Understand Reporting Application road-maps
Make recommendations for future and current change

Ensure the data analysis deliverables are produced and completed within the project boundaries of time and scope.

Estimate effort and duration of defined development tasks

Assist with business change activities:

including UAT design, planning and execution

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in the Information Technology field

SAP HANA Experience including:

2 Full Lifecycle Implementations of SAP Hana or 4+ years of hands on experience with SAP Hana Data Base and Design Tool Set
Strong Technical Skills with SAP Hana Design Tool, Data Views and Flows
Data Modeling Experience
Ability to help build and translate Functional Business Requirements into Technical Solutions

SAP Business Objects Experience:

Hands on development experience with SAP Business Objects 4.X Reporting Tool Set
Universe Design Tools
Familiarity with Web Intelligence (Webi) and Analysis for OLAP

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands on experience with SAP BW

SAP BW on HANA
ETL Tools and Objects in SAP BW
BPC Application running on HANA
SAP EPM Reporting Tool Set

Strong financial background preferable.

Strong Business Acumen.

Strong Requirements gathering and validation experience.

Previous experience working directly with business people to determine, document and finalize their data requirements.
