RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Technical Java / J2EE Architect in Parsippany, New Jersey (NJ). This is a great full time opportunity with the company.

The position responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
* Owns the technical ERP Java solutions design, development, configuration, testing and implementation
* Advises on architectural decisions and design
* Participates in design workshops
* Creates integration and technical design documentation
* Conducts peer- reviews of functional design documentation
* Provides guidance on intended solution and best practices during development, configuration and testing phases
* Completes development, configuration and unit testing of high complexity areas
* Manages and oversees technical team, performs code reviews and ensures standards are applied to each solution component
* Responsible for code management and standards
* Resolves complex defects during testing phases
* Provides guidance to developers in resolving defects
* Attends defect triage meetings
* Supports and executes performance testing in customer environment
* Completes action items as assigned
* Supports customer installation of the ERP Java solution
* Provides guidance on infrastructure and environment setup
* Troubleshoots customer environment setup and helps customer tune the environments
* Ensures best practices are followed from a technical perspective during all phases of the project
* Serve as the main point of contact for customer technical related questions (customer side of the integration build)

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience designing business objects for re-use across multiple products
* Ability to design enterprise wide, large scale implementations
* Experience deploying servlets in high-availability
* Familiarity with database modeling tools such as Erwin
* Performance tuning experience (Oracle, DB2, MSSQL)
* Skilled Java, JSP, or JavaScript programmer with ability to identify and correct performance issues
* Familiarity with network design and routing
* Ability to work with Network Engineers to identify performance related networking issues
* Familiarity with operating system tuning parameters
* Familiarity with at least 3 of the following: AIX, Windows 2008, Solaris and Linux and Shell Scripts
* XSD schemas knowledge
* Proper XML document design
* PEGA, Cordiant, ILOG, Blaze and/or Corticon knowledge
