RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce direct client is in need of Senior Java Developer to work on-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts (MA). This is a great contract opportunity.

Duties:
* Perform various development tasks throughout the development cycle, providing feedback based upon the specific change requirements and business needs, while adhering to the project schedule
* The contractor will also need to understand and adhere to web development guidelines that have been established
* Maintenance - The contractor will assist in maintaining established web applications including, but not limited to content updates, code updates, performance tuning and troubleshooting
* Implementation - The contractor(s) will oversee moving of the changes to the system successfully based on established web guidelines

REQUIREMENTS:
* Education - BS in computer science or equivalent
* 5-10 years of experience in software development Java and RESTful web services)
* 5+ years of experience in source code management, unit testing, test automation, etc
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in build and test automation
* 5+ years respective tools
* 2+ years of experience in relational or non-relational databases
* 2+ years of experience in Agile software development as well as TDD
* 2+ years with BDD, Continuous Integration years of experience in design controls
* 2+ years working with FDA / ISO 13485 / IEC 62304 compliant software development
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Demonstrated initiative and analytical thinking style, able to comprehend complex problems and good problem solving skills
* Proven track record of being a strong team player
