Senior Software Engineer - Sales Intelligence

The Role:

The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to design and implement a first-class customer relationship management solution from the ground up. The solution will provide the ability to flexibly and powerfully control the creation, visualization, workflow, search, and reporting across all client data and interactions that will help us gain insight into clients and future prospects. This new platform will be used by many internal businesses and will also be able to integrate with client-facing functionality.
Several technologies will be used to help deliver on one of the most robust, extensible, and secure CRM's on the market today. This includes relational databases such as SQL server, web services, C++, and C#. In addition, open-source technologies such as SOLR, MongoDB, Cassandra, Hadoop, and Python will be incorporated. There is ample room for creativity and a multitude of ways to apply the skills of architects and innovators.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science/MS/PhD degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or related field (or equivalent expertise)
3 years of software engineering experience
Experience with relational databases, C#, and Web services
Experience with reporting tools and search engines a plus
Expertise and passion in one or more of: C, C++, API design, REST, databases, computational complexity, and service-oriented architectures
Understanding of software architecture and object-oriented design
The successful candidate will have good analytical and problem-solving skills
Solid verbal and written communication skills
