The Role:
R&D Real-Time Market Data is seeking a strong C++ developer with a passion for building robust, high performance software. Our team develops feed handlers for the most important financial data sources from all over the world, such as stock exchanges, news vendors, and pricing contributors. As the foundation of our company\'s data infrastructure, we help drive the decision making of the most influential participants in the financial markets. As a part of our team, you will help create complex software systems from the ground up. We are involved in all aspects of the development life cycle, from requirements planning through to QA and troubleshooting. We also work closely with various businesses and other R&D groups to design and develop our systems. The work environment is fast-paced, spirited, and friendly. Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on C++ development experience on Linux/UNIX
Strong programming fundamentals
Familiarity with multi-threading and networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, and multicast) preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
