Skills: HP Loadrunner or similar, Windows OS performance monitoring & Troubleshooting Tools SysInternals, WPA, PerfMon
Protocols Application performance testing in Citrix environment
Protocols VBScript, powershell
Specialties Virtualization (AppV/SWV) - basic understanding
Specialties VMWare
Specialties Windows Engineer
Notes:
-Performance engineering on Windows desktops
-applications on operating systems
-responsible for application responsiveness
-how it impacts the back end
-touch lightly on security of the applications
-someone who is very bright
-has a complex understanding of memory mgmt., CPU power mgmt., troubleshooting, strong analytical skills
-ability to script (VB, powershell, web scripting)
-understand application integration and deployment to SCCM (what it does, how it works, etc.)
-must have experience with SysInternals
-work with vendors
-at least 10 years exp.
