RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our client in Hillsboro, OR is looking for a talented User Experience Designer to help maintain their proprietary software and direct the design of new features and enhancements and be a part of a team responsible for the technical evaluation and execution of potential business opportunities. This candidate will have the opportunity to learn and utilize some of the latest development technologies, be a key contributor in determining the visual appearance our products take and have a passion for usability, an eye for visual consistency, and a knack for reducing the complex to the bare essentials.

Job Duties:
*You will work on an agile team to develop software prototypes and solutions
*Act as the user-advocate during the development process, subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing or expert review, and offering implementation suggestions from a user-centered perspective
*Develop wireframes, behavioral specifications and personas while maintaining current with existing and upcoming development technologies

REQUIREMENTS:
Must be self-motivated and creative
*Skilled at building original web sites and applications focused on user experience
*Excellent written and oral communication skills
*Ability to explain why a design works or why it doesn't
*JS, Angular, Knockout, (General Web Client Tech), JQuery, ASP.NET MVC and WebAPI, Microsoft Azure, iOS design, Android design, front-end design, Windows Phone design, interaction design, GUI design or usability is a nice-to-have
*UI and UX Design expertise
*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design or related field
*4+ years designing and creating for web solutions, 6+ years' experience creating user interfaces
