ITS Platform Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Neenah, WI.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Primary resource to provide second and third level support for the Vayusphere (IM App) and MassTransit(GitHUB Framwork) toolsets; Secondary resource for other technologies as needed

- Engage in and lead efforts related to the implementation of technical processes and upgrades to maintain and enhance these technologies

- Works under general direction within a clear framework of accountability exercising substantial personal responsibility and autonomy

- Makes recommendations that influence the success of projects and team objectives

- Performs a broad range of simple to complex technical or professional work activities, in a variety of contexts

- Maintains and selects appropriately from applicable standards, methods, tools and applications

- Demonstrates an analytical and systematic approach to problem solving

- Communicates fluently orally and in writing, and can present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Plans, schedules and monitors work to meet time and quality targets and in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures

- Rapidly absorbs new technical information and applies it effectively

- Has a good appreciation of the wider field of information systems, their use in relevant employment areas and how they relate to business activities

- Maintains an awareness of developing technologies and their application and takes responsibility for personal development


What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Excellent IT technical skills, communication, facilitation and organization skills

- Experience leading or participating in small to large size IT projects

- Demonstrated ability to become expert in more than 1 technology area

- IT Change Management processes

- Application installation process and standards

- Windows server 2008 R2 & 2012 R2

- Lync /Skype for Business 2013

- Internet Information Services (IIS) version 7 and 8

- Microsoft Active Directory

- Powershell

- Additional languages a plus

- Basic understanding of networking & firewall rules

- Basic understanding of databases

- Certificate knowledge

- High Availability systems architecture

- After hours on-call support including monthly after-hours maintenance rotation
