Responsibilities:

• Develop high scale systems to process upwards of 150k/rps with lte 5ms response times
• Design and build RESTful APIs that are consumed by internal and external system
• Collaborate with Product, Account and Business Development teams to create new products and features

Requirements:

• Experience working with high scale systems
• Strong understanding of concurrent and parallel programming
• Deep knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Strong understanding of one or more programming languages
• Highly productive with familiarity of *nix scripting and tools
• BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Desired:
• Functional programming experience or interest
• Experience programming for the JVM
• Understanding of the RESTful architectural pattern
• Understanding of software engineering best practices (e.g. unit testing, code reviews, branching models)
