RESPONSIBILITIES:
We currently have a great opportunity to work for a fast growing medical device company out of sunny San Diego, CA. We have an immediate fulltime role for a Mid-Sr .NET Engineer to manage and heighten the software of the business diagnostics platforms. The qualified candidate that we are looking for is someone that is driven, likes to learn new things, and can handle technical challenges presented. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written is as must as you will be having constant interaction across the organization. Responsibilities:
* Evaluates, selects and applies standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria
* Documents and develops design inputs, SW development controls and design outputs
* Solves product or project problems, improvements or field complaints
* Assists in preparation of project status reports and technical documentation

Qualified candidates must be presently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. This company does not sponsor or transfer H1-visa individuals.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience in C#/.NET and application - client/server, windows based
* 7-10 years of experience is ideal, would be willing to consider less
* WCF experience is a plus, and unit testing frameworks preferred
* Currently using Agile and SCRUM
* Demonstrates success in technical proficiency, creativity, collaboration with others and independent thought
* Expert knowledge of engineering principles and concepts
* Understands and uses expert practices for requirements management, development and analysis
* Understands and uses the foundational processes and practices for SW planning
* Mentors others in SW planning processes and practices
* Develops and uses company design practices as applied to projects
* Understands and applies industry practices and benchmarks
* Uses company coding practices as applied to projects
* Uses company practices for SW integration and test

Pluses:
* Database experience
* FDA is a plus but not required
* Embedded experience
