Job Description:

Northrop Grumman Information Systems in Reston, VA has a requirement for a Windows Engineer to provide expertise regarding the implementation, scoping, capacity planning and administration of a Windows, VMWare and Citrix XenDesktop environment. This Engineer will work an Infrastructure Team in the configuration, installation, monitoring and maintenance of a mixed Windows and Linux environment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Must have an active/current TS/SCI Polygraph Clearance Must have 9+ years of related Windows Engineering experience with a Bachelors Degree (Additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree) Must have experience with Citrix XenApp & XenDesktop Must have experience designing, building and maintaining VMWare vCenter 5.x and ESXi 5.x Must have experience with Windows Activity Directory Design, Implementation, documentation and maintenance. Must have an understanding of Internet Services such as IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, SSH and AD Sites & Services. Must have Customer Support Experience Must be able to maintain organizational groups in Active Directory Must have advanced problem solving skills Must be able to provide premier customer support including responding to customer's questions and issues, through over the phone and email support. Must be able to learn new applications/programs quickly Must have experience installing/loading operating system software Must be able to perform application and infrastructure troubleshooting Must have experience providing system administration support for servers Solid understanding of firewalls, vpn tunneling and other general networking technologies

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with setup, configuration and upgrade of HP and IBM Blade enclosures. Experience using Microsoft System Center (any or all of the modules) Experience with SCCM Experience scripting and automation experience (Power Shell, PowerCLI) Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA) Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA) Experience with VMWare troubleshooting skills Experience with Virtual Machine creation and maintenance using VMWare and Citrix.
