Job Description:

Platform Staffing Group is currently conducting a search for an experienced Application Architect for our direct client in Battle Creek, MI. to work as a member of the Global Marketing team.

DUTIES

The key to success in this role is a complement of strong technical skills, a commitment to quality, a desire to exceed customer expectations, and a drive to learn new technologies. Collaborate with internal IS teams, and business groups across the client’s organization. Help define and shape application architecture across the team’s product portfolio and the Client’s enterprise. Conduct and facilitate formal design and code reviews.

REQUIRED SKILLS

A minimum of 5 years of previous application development experience

5+ years of Application/database design & architecture experience

Java, JavaEE, SQL, Oracle RDBMS, .Net, UNIX, high-level system design experience required

Solid knowledge of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) required

Strong commitment to quality

Proven analytical, critical thinking and trouble shooting skills

Solid customer focus, teamwork, innovation, creativity, and relationship building

Effective communication and relationship management are essential

Effective time management, organization, and communication skills

CMS & eCommerce experience, Adobe CQ, AngularJS, JQuery, Weblogic Desired

Spring, Hibernate / JPA, XML, UML, application security, debugging experience strongly preferred

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred
