Junior .Net Developer Job in Annapolis, MD

Modis is seeking a contract to hire Junior .Net Developer in Annapolis, MD to provide Business Application Support and Development. The candidate must have strong ability to ramp up quickly and be proactive in getting work done. Able to spin up fast, quickly grasp multi-tier environment, team player, active question asker/solution seeker. The Junior .Net Developer will handle all aspects of software life cycle development; requirements definition, database design, system design development, testing, implementation, and documentation.

Required Experience:

Qualifications Junior .NET Developer:

2+ years’ experience building web-based projects with aggressive schedules

Required Knowledge:

Programming: ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript, JQuery
Front-End: HTML, CSS
Database: Oracle10/11g, writing stored procedures, extended stored procedures, functions, packages, triggers and views using PL/SQL
Data Migration Concepts
Front-End: JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, Responsive Design
Bug Tracking Team Foundation Server
Support team tasks regarding architectural solutions and resolve complex issues
Implement and maintain physical database structures using best practices
Trouble shooting/debugging to isolate/resolve problems

Education & Soft Skills Required:

BA / BS Degree – preferably in Computer Science
Certificate(s) that demonstrate proficiency in the required skills is a plus
Ability to articulate complex technical ideas in easy to understand business terms
A strong desire to learn and ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth environment
Must be a self-starter that can drive tasks forward with minimal management oversight
Inexhaustible energy and contagious positive attitude
Willingness to step beyond core responsibilities and support others
Excellent communications (verbal and written)
