RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a BI Developer in Carmel, Indiana (IN). The candidate MUST have a passion for technology. Those that don't will be weeded out of consideration. The candidate must be creative and comfortable working in a highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities May Include:
* Develop and manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups and personnel with whom work must be coordinated or interfaced
* Gather and document functional and technical requirements, and translate requirements into reporting solutions, analytic tools, and dashboards
* Develop in-depth understanding of underlying data, data structures, and business uses of data
* Create simple to complex data and reporting solutions by leveraging the Microsoft BI stack including Reporting Services, Analysis Services, and Integration Services
* Develop key operational, financial and customer centric dashboards, metrics, and reports
* Work with software engineers to assist in the creation of reports and meaningful data analysis for end users
* Support end-user community in the use of business intelligence tools to query databases and files for report outputs
* Assist in the design and development of ETL solutions in development of Data Warehouse Analytics
* Provide support as required to ensure the availability and optimized performance of developed reports and dashboards for both external and internal users
* Meet professional obligations through efficient work habits such as, meeting deadlines, honoring schedules, coordinating resources and meetings in an effective and timely manner

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
* Solid understanding of SSRS with a growing understanding of SSAS data models, MDX/DAX, and Power View/PowerPivot
* Understanding of data modeling, data quality, and ETL
* Experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, user-defined functions, and SSIS
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
