IOTA provides standards-based web services for obtaining integrated information products from diverse information sources and repositories. IOTA information services provide robust and secure access to information products needed by mission applications
Roles and Responsibilities:

* Work as part of a team to design, develop, implement, and maintain applications

* Perform system / software analysis activities to include requirements analysis, gap analysis, analysis of alternatives

* Develop high level and detailed software designs in accordance with DoD architecture framework

* Perform software development and integration within an agile development process

* Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience.. An additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

* 2-4 years software development experience

* Active Secret Clearance

* Experience with Java and SOAP

* 5 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.

* Position requires a current Secret Clearance BQs for a Software Engineer 4 are.. To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

* Bachelors Degree and 9 years of experience.. An additional 4 years of experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

* 2-4 years software development experience

* Active Secret Clearance

* Experience with Java and SOAP

* 5 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a Bachelors Degree.

* Position requires a current Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration:

* Bachelors Degree

* Proficient in writing web based applications which use a DBMS

* In depth knowledge of Object oriented software development using the Java programming language

* Knowledge or experience in the J2EE framework, and Services Oriented Architectures (SOA) * Knowledge of WebLogic and/or JBoss application server frameworks Relocation assistance is not available for this position. This position is contingent upon contract award, budget, and/or customer approval.
