Position: Applications Support Analyst

Location: Loveland, CO

Salary range: $60k/yr to $70k/yr + full benefits

Position Overview:

Under the general direction of the Manager of Applications, the Applications Support Analyst maintains and evangelizes the OSIsoft PI system platform in support of the Reliability Coordinators' real-time reliability function. Application Support Analyst requires excellent analytical skills, good communication skills, and teamwork skills to work within the RC function and as a resource for many different operational and engineering entities within the RC. Application Support Analyst requires participation in an on-call rotation for emergencies and support.

Major Duties:

Support the OSIsoft PI infrastructure thru routine maintenance of archives, system performance, and deployment of software.
Maintains the PI AF structure ensuring all data is categorized and displayed in a consistent manner.
Builds ProcessBook displays in support of control room operations as needed.
Works closely with the Energy Management System team to add points on all new model builds, and retire those going out of operation.
Supports the RC Website thru PI Web Parts deployment and configuration.
Works closely with the Software Development team to provide access and expertise around retrieving data from the PI system.
Creates support Dashboards of RC infrastructure to foster effective monitoring of all systems.
Handles disaster recovery planning and support for all PI infrastructures in a geographically dispersed environment.
Represent Peak RC interests in applicable work groups and other industry-related forums, as assigned.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree (BS) in computer science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience resulting in demonstrated ability to perform major duties.

Experience/Skills

Minimum 3 years direct work experience with the OSIsoft PI Platform.
Experience with interfacing external devices to the PI Platform.
Relevant PI Server 2012 experience in a multi-site collective.
Proficiency in standard office software applications including MS Word, Excel (PI DataLink), Access, and Outlook
Base proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio C#, and the PI development tools.
Good organization and communication skills, both oral and written, are essential to success in this position
Excellent business writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop and deliver clear, concise presentations.
Ability to set and meet self-imposed deadlines and conclude assignments with minimal external prompting.
Must be able to work effectively in a highly dynamic team environment and assist all groups as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Above minimum qualifications any or all of the following:

PI Server 2012 collective experience.
Visual Studio C# development experience utilizing PI OLEDB.
Alstom Energy Management System understanding of Habitat Databases and Sampler.
Experience working with building PI tools in a Dispatcher Training Simulator environment.
Expert knowledge of PI DataLink in Excel to produce PI dashboards on the fly on business owner request.
Strong Windows Administration skills for troubleshooting and optimizing PI performance.
Expert level knowledge of PI ProcessBook display building.
