SharePoint Developer Consultants in the Dell Collaborative Solutions practice area are responsible for the design, custom development, and integration efforts for Microsoft SharePoint-based solutions using the latest in Microsoft products and related technologies.

Responsibilities include:

* Ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction by conceptualizing clients' needs and translating into specific implementation strategies through planning, design, development and production roll out project phases
* Gather detailed requirements during the project assessment phase and translate customer vision into a detailed technical implementation plan
* Design and develop complex SharePoint solutions, including new deployments, upgrades and migrations, both on-premise in in the cloud
* Design architecture for SharePoint to integrate with various disparate systems such as SQL Server, Microsoft Business Intelligence, Dynamics CRM, Office 365, and non-Microsoft HR and Finance systems
* Perform advanced or complex prototyping for SharePoint technologies
* Maintain targeted billable utilization through project delivery activities

Qualifications

* 8 -10 years of business, software, or consulting experience or equivalent, with 6 years of strong experience in SharePoint Application Development
* BS degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferred
* Microsoft certification is required, with the ideal candidate possessing one of the following certifications: MCTS, MCITP, MCPD, MCSE, MCSD, MCSM
* Consulting background and experience implementing and managing complex technology solution projects
* Comprehensive understanding of SharePoint architecture, technology, and concepts with deep experience in all SharePoint 2010 and 2013 workloads
* Experience on developing application solutions with SharePoint 2007, 2010, 2013, Office 365 (SharePoint Online)
* Broad and deep experience with related Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server and Business Intelligence, Office 365, Windows Azure, and Dynamics CRM
* Strong in ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, XML, REST, WCF
* Experience in developing mobile interfaces for SharePoint-based solutions preferred
* Experience in creating PowerShell scripts
* Experience with public, private and hybrid clouds, including Office 365 and Windows Azure, is a plus
* Experience with Lotus Notes to SharePoint migrations preferred
* Experience with SharePoint tools (Dell Software Group/Quest, K2, Nintex or Metalogix) preferred
* Ability to interface with clients and Dell teams through entire project lifecycle, from pre-sales through delivery
* Superior problem solving and decision-making capabilities
* Outstanding written and oral communications skills, and group facilitation capabilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
