Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Software Architect-.NET/C#/MVC located in New York, New York (NY).

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for scoping, architecting and leading technology teams in the delivery of challenging technical solutions for their e-commerce platform
* Responsible for translating business and functional requirements into detailed technical design from system architecture down to code-level design
* Plan, architect and implement full stack web and backend applications on Microsoft and related technologies (.NET, C#, WCF, MVC, Web API, IIS, SQL Server, Azure, JavaScript)
* Set and enforce development standards and practices throughout the organization
* Collaborate and provide technical and design guidance and suggestions within the team and department

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, Master's degree a plus
* 6 - 10 years' experience in Internet technologies, i.e. .NET and application development using C#
* Practical knowledge of UI and presentation layer code such as HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS
* Expert in object oriented principles and design patterns
* Passionate about writing well-architected code
* Experience working in an Agile environment
* Well versed in web, backend and database software development principles
* Design/development of high volume web application in ASP.NET, both Web Forms and MVC
* Database programming and relational schema design for SQL
* XML, XSLT and XPath client side Java Script and CSS libraries/frameworks like Angular.js, Bootstrap etc
