Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a Lead/Senior Software Developer for their New York, New York (NY) location. The Software Developer supports the development of numerous software applications. This is a great opportunity for a full time position with this company.

Responsibilities:
* Build secure, globalized software using standard design patterns
* Develop automated unit tests to verify code is working properly
* Deliver a scalable and maintainable system
* Follow software development best practices
* Provide technical input on specifications for projects and implementations
* Analyze, design, coordinate, and supervise the development of web applications
* Provide assistance to Testers and IT personnel as needed
* Document code consistently throughout the development process

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7+ years of Microsoft .NET experience, including: C#, ASP, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET 4.0 / 3.5 / 2.0 / 1.1, XML, AJAX, JQuery, HTML, JavaScript, IIS 6.0 / 7.5 and SQL Server 2005 / 2008 / 2012
* 2+ years of developing web services or WCF
* Expertise in e-Commerce
* Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design
* Solid understanding of security practices for Internet applications
* AppFabric Cache experience is a plus
* SOA implementation experience is a plus
* Familiarity with Microsoft Enterprise Library will be a plus
* Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD) in .NET technologies is a plus
* Experience in MSBuild; deployment; and continuous integration is a plus
* Exposure to all aspects of the software development life cycle
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Enthusiastic and 'true' team player with a commitment to success and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly-changing environment
* Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic work environment
