Job Description:

Northrop Grumman is looking for talented Software Engineers with the desire to learn new technologies to join our incredibly bright and innovative team to help develop, enhance and maintain cutting edge products and systems. If you are an Embedded Software Engineer with C/C++ please read on... Embedded, real-time software development experience with signal processing and/or radar mode control expertise. Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met. Experience in with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Ground-Moving Target Indication (GMTI) radar modes is a bonus.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: -9+ years of related experience with a BS; 7 years with an MS -Experience in developing real-time embedded software in C/C++ -Bachelor's degree or higher in EE, CS, CE or other related technical area -Secret clearance required.

-Product development from inception to completion of final product -Minimal travel

Preferred Qualifications:

-Open architecture and Agile experience a plus -C, RTOS (VxWorks)- Experience with embedded, real-time software develpment with emphasis on Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Ground-Moving Target Indication (GMTI) radar modes.
