Primary Functions/Tasks:

• Reporting to the Senior Program Manager for Consolidation Program
• May interface with senior and executive level management Including directors, associate executive directors, executive directors, vice presidents, vice provosts, as well as professors in the academia
• Working with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups, requires a high level of influence to ensure the project objectives are achieved
• Follow the IST project management framework and the Consolidation Program processes for the delivery of projects
• Assist with the development of the Consolidation Program processes, procedures and templates
• Responsible for the successful delivery of projects through the management of project resources Including people, budget, equipment and tools
• Monitor project and team performance against plans and take effective corrective action as required

Experience/Qualifications:
• PMP certification or equivalent
• Minimum 10 years project management experience
• Desirable - experience working In a post-secondary Institution
• Preferred - prior experience working in an IT environment
• Ability to elicit cooperation from matrix teams, senior leaders and other departments
• Advanced user of MS Project and MS Office
• Proficient user of MS Visio, Google Apps and other productivity software
• Knowledge of business analysis, system development and IT service management
• Strong planning, communication and presentation skills
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
