We are seeking a White Plains based Programmer to join our PCI/MIS Team. This position will be responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, deploying, and supporting applications to enhance the business/operational processes in use by the Private Client Sales, Institutional Sales, Wealth Management, Marketing, and Operations departments. The ideal candidate must be able to learn quickly, communicate effectively, multitask, and prioritize work in a very demanding environment.

Key Job Responsibilities

Designing, developing, deploying, and supporting proprietary applications utilizing a diverse set of leading edge technologies.
The team’s applications are large and complex, so the ideal candidate will have to learn quickly and possess in-depth knowledge of both .Net and C#.
As a member of the PCI/MIS team, developers will work with state-of-the-art technologies to help advisors solve complex financial issues for their clients. This integration of technical and financial skills makes the position both highly challenging and interesting.
Developers in the PCI/MIS team are not specialists working in one specific aspect of the application, but are instead encouraged to contribute in all areas of development (frontend/middle tier/database). Change is the only constant for the team, so the ideal candidate must welcome change and have an insatiable appetite for learning.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Comp Science, Math, Engineering or related field
Minimum three years professional experience
Strong relational database design/development skills (SQL Server )
Objected oriented analysis and design
Experience developing distributed systems
Graphical user interface design (both web and Windows)
Full life cycle development experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills

The Private Client / Institutional MIS group supports the Private Client Sales, Institutional Sales, Wealth Management, Marketing and Operations departments.

The PCI/MIS team supports Windows and Web based applications that support our sales teams in every aspect of client interaction. The PCI/MIS team developed/supports the CRM and the iPad applications utilized by sales advisors when meeting with prospective clients. Later, as these prospects transition to clients, the team develops/supports the proprietary investment planning tools that enable the firm’s financial advisors to address complex investment planning issues for high net-worth clients; including retirement, trust vehicles, foundations and endowments.
