Job Description:
TEKsystems is currently seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our customer here in Bentonville, Arkansas. This is a contract to hire opportunity that will give you exposure to not only design, architecture and implementation of Data Center build outs for the largest retailer in the world, but the ability to be more than just an Engineer and more of a Consultant. We are seeking someone who has a background in technologies like: VMware, DevOps, Linux RedHat, Windows Server 2012, EMC/NetApp storage, Cisco Networking, Cisco UCS.
Job Duties:
Design, architecture, implementation and support of high level projects for the customer
Technical pre-sales support for direct and channel partners sales teams
Proactively seek out new sales opportunities by developing new and existing technical relationships within accounts
Present the customers technical value proposition to customers and partners
Proactively drive new and incremental business within assigned territory
Ensure success of customer proof-of-concepts (POCs)
Documentation of client feature requests and issues
Drive the design of customer oriented solutions
Participate in additional trainings
Assume the role of a mentor to other system engineers when appropriate
Create training content for the SE organization when appropriate
