We are looking for a Principal Front End Engineer to assist in the continued development of our Intelligent EDI platform. In this exciting role, you will collaborate with some of the smartest developers in the industry, designing and implementing solutions to some of the toughest information challenges facing health care today. You will develop using cutting-edge technologies such as HTML5, AngularJS, and JSF.
We are looking for talented, innovative, effective developers who take pride in and ownership of their responsibilities, and who can confidently communicate and champion their ideas.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform all phases of front-end development including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing
Mentor developers on Agile delivery teams
Design and implement product features in collaboration with UX/design staff and business stakeholders
Select, adopt, create, and extend reusable components and libraries using JSF and AngularJS
Work very closely with back-end developers to drive solutions
Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints
Design and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance
Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
Research and champion new technologies
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent
2+ years developing web applications using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
1+ year developing web applications using a modern JavaScript framework such as Angular, Ember, React, Backbone + Knockout, etc.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to operate at a high level in small teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Agile methodologies
Experience with a backend language such as Java, Groovy, Ruby, Python, Scala, or Clojure.
Experience with Node.js or the MEAN stack
